I've just signed up. What now?
Get set up in 10 minutes
From an empty account to your first order on the board — your business name, how customers pay you, and your order link.
You already know how to bake. The part that eats your evening is everything around it — scrolling back through chats to find who ordered what, remembering who paid an advance, realising at 9pm that something is due tomorrow.
Setting up takes about ten minutes, and you only do it once. Here is the whole thing.
Before you start
Have your bank account or Easypaisa number to hand, and one real order you have already taken — a real one works far better than a made-up one, because you will see straight away whether this fits how you actually work.
Create your account
Your business name matters more than it looks. It appears in every message your customers receive — “Your order with Layla’s Cakes is confirmed” — so write it the way your customers know you, not the way it appears on a licence.
Add how customers pay you
In Settings → How customers pay you, add your bank account, Easypaisa or whatever you use. You can add several. The first one is the one you would rather they used, and it appears first in messages.
This is worth doing before anything else: from now on, every reminder you send already has your payment details in it. You never type an account number into WhatsApp again.
Copy your order link
On your home screen there is a link like
orderdesk.getsellerpulse.com/s/laylas-cakes. Put it in your Instagram bio. Customers fill in their own order — date, what they want, where it goes — and it lands in your list ready for you to price. There is a whole guide on this one: Let customers fill in their own orders.
Add one real order
Tap New order. Customer name, WhatsApp number, the date it is for, what they want, and the price. If they have paid an advance, put that in too — the balance works itself out.
Look at your home screen
You now have three numbers: what is due today, what is due in the next seven days, and how much money you are still owed across every order. That last one is usually the surprise.
Keep the evening summary on. It is switched on for you already, in Settings — every evening it tells you what is due tomorrow and who still owes you. It is the difference between remembering at 9pm and remembering at 6am.
That’s it
You do not need to move your old orders across. Start with the next one that comes in, and let the old ones finish the way they always did.
