Can customers tell me what they want without me typing it out?
Let customers fill in their own orders
One link in your Instagram bio, and requests arrive ready to quote with the date and details already filled in.
Most enquiries start the same way: “Hi, do you do birthday cakes?” Then eleven messages to establish the date, the size, the flavour, and where it is going — and you type all of it out again into your notes.
Your order link skips that. One link, in your Instagram bio, that asks the questions for you.
Find your link
It is on your home screen and looks like
orderdesk.getsellerpulse.com/s/laylas-cakes. Tap Copy link.Put it where people already look
Your Instagram bio is the obvious place. Your WhatsApp status works too, and so does replying to “do you take orders?” with the link instead of a paragraph.
See what your customer sees
Open it yourself. A short form: their name, WhatsApp number, the date they need it, what they would like, and where it is going. No account, no password, nothing to install.
Quote it
The request arrives in your orders marked needs a price — and your home screen shows a bell telling you how many are waiting. Nothing is confirmed and no price has been promised. You open it, add your price, and send the confirmation.
Filling in the form is not agreeing to an order. This matters: a customer can ask for a five-tier cake for tomorrow, and nothing has been committed. You set the price and confirm — or you don’t.
Why this is worth doing today
Every enquiry that arrives through the link comes with the date already filled in, which is the single detail most likely to be wrong when it comes through chat. It also means the people who message you at 1am get a way to tell you what they want without waiting for you to wake up.
One thing to know
On the Free plan your order page carries a small “Powered by OrderDesk” line at the bottom. On paid plans it does not. Nothing else about the page changes.
