Privacy Policy

OrderDesk holds your order book, which means it holds your customers’ names and phone numbers. This page explains exactly what we keep, why, and who else can touch it.
The short version
- We store the orders, customers and payments you enter, so we can show them back to you.
- We never read your WhatsApp chats and never message your customers. OrderDesk has no access to your WhatsApp account.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not market to your customers.
- You can export everything, or ask us to delete it, at any time.
Who we are
OrderDesk is operated by Imad Ud Din Faisal, trading as SellerPulse. For anything on this page, write to support@getsellerpulse.com.
What we collect
When you sign up
- Your email address and a hashed password — we never see your password in plain text.
- Your business name, what you sell, and the currency you sell in.
What you enter while using OrderDesk
- Orders: item details, event dates, delivery notes, amounts and balances.
- Customers: the name and phone number you record for each order.
- Payments you record — amount, date and method. No card or bank details are involved.
- Delivery and rider notes, if you use those features.
What your customers give you through your order link
Every seller gets a public order link. When one of your customers fills it in, what they type — their name, phone number, the date and the details of what they want — is stored against your account, for you. We do not contact them, and we do not use their details for anything else.
Technical information
- Standard server logs from our hosting provider (IP address, browser, pages requested), kept briefly for security and debugging.
- Product analytics — which features are used and where people get stuck — through PostHog. This is about behaviour in the app, not about your order contents.
What we deliberately do not collect
- Your WhatsApp messages, contacts or chat history. There is no connection to WhatsApp.
- Card numbers or bank details — payments to us are handled by our payment provider.
- Your location.
Why we use it
- To run the service: show your board, calculate balances, build your WhatsApp messages.
- To send you service email — confirming your address, resetting a password, and the daily digest if you have it switched on. You can unsubscribe from the digest from the link in it.
- To answer your support messages.
- To keep the service secure and to fix faults.
- To take payment, if you are on a paid plan.
We do not use your data to train machine-learning models, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Who else processes it
We are a small operation and rely on a few well-known providers. Each of them only handles what it needs to:
- Supabase — the database and login system where your orders and customers are stored.
- Vercel — hosting; runs the application and produces the server logs.
- Resend — sends our transactional email (confirmations, password resets, digests).
- PostHog — product analytics, as described above.
- Our payment provider — takes payment for paid plans as merchant of record and holds your billing details. We never see your full card number.
Where your data is stored
Our database and application are hosted in Singapore, chosen because it is close to sellers in Pakistan and the Gulf and keeps the app fast. Our email and analytics providers may process data elsewhere, including in the European Union and the United States.
You, and your customers
You decide what to record about your customers; we hold it on your behalf. That makes you responsible for having the right to collect it, and for answering your customers if they ask what you hold about them. We will help you do that — ask us and we will get you the records.
How long we keep it
- Your account and its data: for as long as your account exists.
- After you delete your account: removed from our live systems within 30 days, and from backups within 90.
- Server logs: a short rolling window, then discarded.
- Records we must keep for tax or accounting — invoices, essentially — for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
Whatever your country, we will honour these: ask for a copy of your data, correct it, have it deleted, or object to how we use it. Email support@getsellerpulse.com — we aim to answer within 7 days and will not charge you for it.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form. Each seller’s data is isolated at the database level, so one account cannot read another’s. No system is perfect: if a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you what happened and what we did about it, promptly and without spin.
Cookies
We use a cookie to keep you logged in, and analytics cookies to understand how the app is used. There is no advertising tracking on OrderDesk.
Children
OrderDesk is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes
When this policy changes we will update the date at the top, and email you if the change is significant. Our terms of service sit alongside this page.
